I’m Liz Marion — Founder & Principal of Liby Works.

I help leaders communicate what matters most.

After a career shaped by the entertainment industry, organizational leadership research at Johns Hopkins, and 12+ years working with executives, founders, and teams, I’ve learned one truth:

When leaders communicate well, everything gets easier.

I’ve worked across corporate, startup, nonprofit, and government ecosystems — including national security and innovation communities — and bring a distinct mix of strategic communication and executive presence coaching.

I hold an MS in Organizational Leadership from Johns Hopkins University, with a concentration on measuring effective leadership communication, and previously served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at UC San Diego.

I am passionate about communication, national security, veteran and military spouse initiatives, and the outdoors.

Fun fact: “Liby” was my childhood nickname.
